How to deal with the air compressor soaked in stagnant water
The air compressor in the factory is soaked in stagnant water, please don’t worry, after the water recedes, do not power on or start the machine, please follow the maintenance methods below.
Step 1: Check the wiring
After the stagnant water recedes, clean the sewage and sludge inside the air compressor, please do not turn on the power first. Professional equipment management personnel open the air compressor case panel to check and judge the internal damage of the circuit and accessories. Since the air compressor itself is sealed, generally speaking, it can prevent most debris from entering the air compressor, but there will be Some tiny silt gets in through the intake and exhaust holes.
Step Two: Check the host
If the main engine is flooded, first disassemble the intake valve. If mud and other debris enter, disassemble the main engine, clean the rotor, bearing, oil seal, shaft sleeve, gear, gear shaft and other parts, and then reassemble. If there is only a small amount of water inflow, you can pour in diesel or kerosene and turn the rotor to discharge the accumulated water, then pour in the lubricating oil of the main engine for cleaning, and then discharge the cleaning oil.
Step 3: Check oil and gas barrel parts
Check whether the oil and gas barrel, one-way valve, minimum pressure valve, drain valve, oil return pipe and other components are damaged and fasten them. If it is damaged, the sewage may enter the oil and gas barrel. It is necessary to open the top cover, clean up the sediment and sundries, and replace the oil and gas separator.
Step 4: Check the frequency converter and controller, etc.
Inverter, controller and other electrical components soaked in water: first open the inverter panel, dry the inside of the inverter with a dry towel, then use a small blower to dry the drive board, main board, lightning protection board, inverter module and fan, etc., then Scrub it with alcohol, then dry it with a small blower, scrub it again for about an hour, and then dry it with hot air. After cleaning and drying the inverter, do not start it up immediately after installing it, and then start it up after half an hour of power on without any abnormalities.
Step 5: Check the AC contactor and transformer, etc.
Contactors, transformers, and switches soaked in water: For contactors above 65, you can disassemble the contactor, wipe the original parts such as the contact group with alcohol, and dry them with a blower. Yes, the sludge should be cleaned up, and it is recommended to replace small contactors and small switches directly.
Step Six: Check the Motor
Soak the motor (including the fan motor) in water: remove the end cover of the motor, clean up the accumulated water, if there is sludge in it, clean up the sludge, then dry it with a blower, and then dry it: low temperature pre-drying, temperature Control at 50~70℃, drying time is 8~14h. Drying at high temperature; the temperature is controlled at 80~100°C, and the drying time is 1h. The drying time of the small motor is short, and the drying time of the large motor is longer. Use a 500~1000V insulation resistance meter to measure the insulation resistance value of the winding every 1 hour. The insulation resistance value of the dried motor should be greater than 5MΩ. If it is not reached, continue to dry.
Step Seven: Replace
Replace the three filter and oil.
Step Eight: Test Machine
After all the procedures are completed and checked, start the test machine.
