Air compressor noise test
Noise test before noise reduction
① Air compressor measuring point layout
The height of the measuring point of the air compressor is 1.2m, 1.4m, 1.6m, and 1.8m from the ground. When the height of the air compressor is less than 1m, the height of the measuring point is 1m.
The horizontal distance between the measuring point and the closest main surface of the air compressor is 0.4m, 0.6m, 0.8m, 1.0m. The selection of the measuring point distance should be determined according to the size of the equipment, generally within the range of 0.1~1.0.
When the measuring point faces the airflow of the cooling fan, the measuring point is selected in a direction offset by 45°.
②Test items
When the air compressor is not running, select a point among the measuring points to measure the background A and C sound levels, measure two values at each point, and take the average value as the sound pressure level at that point. If the noise of the suction port is to be measured separately, the suction port should be separated from the machine or piped out, and measured at a distance of 0.5m from the center of the suction port at a 45° direction, and the sound level of A is measured in nine octave bands. class.
Noise control
The noise control technology at different positions on the air compressor may be different. For each type of noise, the corresponding noise reduction equipment should be selected. Generally, sound isolators are selected for the operation, and then the noise measurement after noise reduction is carried out.
