- The pressure immediately reaches the upper limit when starting. When the screw air compressor is started during the test run, the pressure gauge shows that the pressure immediately reaches the upper limit, which means that the compressed air produced by the compressor cannot be discharged. On closer inspection, the compression valve was found to be stuck. Probably because of the low temperature, the compression valve froze.
- The time relay is damaged. When the pressure of the screw air compressor reaches the upper limit of 0.8 MPa, the total load indicator light is on, and the pressure value displayed on the pressure gauge begins to drop, but the compressor motor is still on, and the exhaust solenoid valve is activated. If the air pressure drops to the lower limit of 0.5 MPa, the gas will be regenerated.
- The air compressor overheating alarm stops when the screw air compressor is repaired. The screw sounds an alarm and stops working when the temperature is too high. After trying to reset the air compressor it only ran for a short time. The temperature rises instantly, exceeds 100, and the alarm stops. The frequency of this kind of failure is not high, and it occurs 2-3 times a day.
- The exhaust temperature is high. The main manifestations are tripping during operation, shutdown, and the exhaust high temperature indicator light is on. After inspection, the water level of the lubricating oil meets the requirements, and the quality of the lubricating oil is good. Eliminate the resistance of the temperature sensor and measure the resistance with a deviation in the corresponding value of the ambient temperature.
- The air compressor is running normally, but there is no pressure. There are generally two reasons for this failure. One is a pipe leak and the other is a faulty intake system. However, there are two possible causes of an intake system failure. In other words, the air filter is dirty and clogged. The intake valve is not open. According to the analysis of the working principle and electrical principle of the screw air compressor, the intake valve can only be closed when the solenoid valve is powered off or internally leaks.
